Al Sharqiyah TV:

A booby-trapped vehicle went off near the Bayrut Square in the Filastin Street in eastern Baghdad. An Iraqi Interior Ministry source said three civilians were martyred and 10 others were wounded and transferred to nearby hospitals in the incident.

Three explosive devices went off in various areas of the Diyala Governorate, northeast of Baghdad. An explosive device went off against a US patrol in the area of Al-Mu'allimin neighbourhood in western Ba'qubah, the centre of the governorate, destroying a Hummer vehicle. Local residents said the US forces cordoned off the area of the incident, which prevented them from finding out the casualties on the US side.

The Al-Walid Border Crossing between Iraq and Syria was closed following two strong explosions, the causes of which remain unknown.

US forces stormed the home of Hatim al-Zamili, undersecretary of the Iraqi Health Ministry, searching and ransacking its contents. Al-Zamili, a member of the Al-Sadr bloc, said five Humvee vehicles raided his house illegally last night, seizing the weapons of his bodyguards before storming the house. He noted that no one was arrested in the raid. - MIDEASTWIRE.COM, Middle East
